Because the licensed digital screening and assessment tools on Proem’s platform are electronic, FQHCs can email or text them to patients to complete at their convenience on their phones or any other device connected to the Internet. FQHCs also can incorporate mental health screening into mobile health units, easily integrating behavioral health into existing programs.

Provide Documentation Required for Reimbursement

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) provides additional reimbursement for providing behavioral health integration (BHI) services. However, to qualify FQHCs must be able to show documented behavioral health treatment plans, which often are lacking in enterprise electronic health records (EHRs). Proem includes treatment plans and informed consent capabilities to meet this reimbursement requirement.

Proem offers EHR integration to streamline workflow. Single sign-on capabilities enable providers to sign into their EHR and access Proem without logging in separately. Electronic signature capabilities allow Proem to facilitate intake packets, including HIPAA forms, to lessen the burden for new patient onboarding. And full integration with EHRs like athenahealth and Lightning Step embed Proem into the EHR to automate assessments, share patient results and reports, and keep patient lists coordinated.
